Barbecued Short Ribs

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds Beef Short Ribs
  • 1 1/2` cups water
  • 1 can tomato sauce 8 ounces
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried mustard

Method
 

  1. Place ribs in a single layer in a 13x9x2 inch baking dish
  2. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over the top
  3. Cover with aluminum foil and chill several hours
  4. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 30 minutes, covered
  5. Reduce oven heat to 350 degrees and uncover ribs
  6. Continue to bake, basting often, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
