I fully admit, I’m a complete and total Disney fan! And a huge portion of the trips that we have taken to Disney parks and on the Disney Cruise Line have focused on our absolute love for the food! When I saw this cookbook come available I knew that I had to have it in order to make some of these recipes at home.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links, see disclosures for more detail.
From Churros to Beignets to Dole Whips, food is the cornerstone of a Disney Parks experience. Ashley Craft grew up in Anaheim and runs a blog at www.ashleycrafted.com featuring recipes she has developed based on foods from those Parks. Now the recipes are available compiled into a gorgeously rendered cookbook.
The book starts with some of the history of the parks and the food experiences available in each one. The author covers cook’s essentials, Then we get to the recipes!
The recipes are organized by park, starting with Disneyland, then Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and then Disney California Adventure.
Some highlights from each of the sections (not inclusive of all recipes):
Disneyland:
Of course Churros, what trip is complete without one of these deep fried cinnamon (or other flavor) goodies?
The many skewer options from The Bengal Barbecue: Bengal Beef , Pork Belly, and Safari. Also the hummus and the tiger tail breadsticks are included.

The one thing that is a bit disappointing (but totally expected) is how many of these recipes require deep frying. If you don’t have a fryer, it may limit how many of these you’ll be able to re-create at your home. Otherwise, this is an awesome cookbook filled with nostalgia for anyone who loves Disney Parks’ food like my family does.
